'The Wowa Spring Tour'
In 2024, they sold out three concerts at AB in record time, proving that Ghinzu’s popularity remains as strong as ever. And 2026 promises to be even more memorable! This year marks a true turning point: more than fifteen years after their last album, Ghinzu announce a brand-new single. “Out of Control” is the first track from a new album expected later this year. But that’s not all — the band returns to AB for an intense performance full of surprises.
Ghinzu is a cult name in Belgian indie rock. The band stands out thanks to a unique, electrifying sound and thrilling live performances, driven by the charisma of John Stargasm and the formidable energy of his fellow musicians. Since their debut in 2000, Ghinzu have carved out a special place in both the Belgian and international rock landscape. Led by John Stargasm, alongside Mika Hasson, Greg Remy, Jean Waterlot, and Antoine Michel, the group made a strong impression with their electronic edge, explosive stage presence, and powerful visual identity. Their discography follows a coherent and ambitious trajectory, from Electronic Jacuzzi (2000) to Mirror Mirror (2009). The groundbreaking album Blow (2004) placed Ghinzu at the heart of the international rock scene and helped put Belgian rock firmly on the global map.
After years of reflection and intensive work, the band returns to the stage, driven by the desire to reconnect with their greatest strength: the bond with their audience. This concert will be a celebration of more than twenty years of music and a fresh testament to the essential role Ghinzu plays in the history of Belgian rock.
This concert is a co-production between Ancienne Belgique and Live Nation.
