Questions & Answers
Ticket info
-
The exact timing is announced on the day prior to the concert (at the latest) via the concert page, via the Facebook event, and via a reminder e-mail to those who purchased tickets. We are not able to provide information about the exact course of the evening before then, so the time that appears on your ticket may be subject to change.
For normal concerts, doors usually open at 7:00pm and the concert ends no later than 10:30pm. This way you still have plenty of options for getting home by public transport. For double bills and festivals, the timing might be entirely different. So always check our website on the day of the event.

When a concert is postponed, we will notify the ticket buyer by e-mail. Your tickets, will of course, remain valid. Do you want to get a refund of your e-ticket? Did you buy your tickets in our ticket shop or via TicketSwap? House rules
-
- Recording material, with the exception of your mobile or smartphone.
- Drinks or snacks that you didnât buy in AB.
- Pets. Want to attend a concert with a guide dog? Let us know.
- Pocketknives and other weapons are, of course, strictly forbidden. These will be confiscated by our security.
-
There is no minimum age to attend a concert or event in AB. But we do expect that children under the age of 16 are accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 12 may attend â free of charge and without a ticket â all concerts organised by AB, except those in the AB Theatre. This does not apply to concerts that are organised by external organisations. So always take a look on the concert page to see who is organising the concert and in which configuration it will take place.

Smoking in the venue is absolutely forbidden. You risk not only your own health but that of other concertgoers. During concerts, you can leave the room to take a smoking break.
Ancienne Belgique can only clearly display the smoking ban and remind smokers of it. Our security staff can point out the smoking ban to people and ask them to extinguish their cigarette but that is where their authority ceases. Ancienne Belgique does work together with the Ministry of Public Health, which carries out basic checks regularly in our rooms and issues fines. They canât be present at every concert, of course.
