Ancienne Belgique is a vibrant concert hall in the heart of Brussels, keen to embrace both young talent and established artists. It is both niche and mainstream, adventurous and genre-transcending. Through some 400 concerts and projects a year, we aim to provide an unforgettable evening for our more than 300,000 visitors. All this is managed by a motivated team of 60 staff members. We are looking for a Ticketing & Customer Service staff member to strengthen our communications team.
Assignment:
- You will be part of the Ticketing subteam within AB’s communications team. Together with three great, experienced colleagues, you will be responsible for the hundreds of thousands of tickets and token vouchers sold every year.
- You will share responsibility for event management on our various platforms. This will involve keeping track of all ticket sales for the AB concert schedule.
- Together with your colleagues, you will determine the content of our Solidarity Ticket action and monitor this in terms of both budget and organisation.
- You will share responsibility for managing AB’s guest list, handling it honestly and thoughtfully.
- You will share responsibility for internal ticketing reports.
- You will be responsible for administrative financial tasks (cash register statements, refunds, online payment options, etc.) in the Ticketing team.
- Together with your other ticketing colleagues, you will keep the visitor information on our website up to date.
- You will help with AB customer service and customer care.
- You will be brought in to man the front desk during the day and on concert evenings.
- When necessary, you will help your colleagues with other tasks the TC Matic team (Team Communication Marketing Ticketing).
Profile:
- You have ticketing experience, preferably in the music or events sector.
- Experience with Ticketmatic is a plus.
- Enthusiasm, customer friendliness and motivation are more important than diplomas.
- You can deal with stress, are able to organise your work well and are meticulous.
- You have a sense of initiative and are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- You are sociable, communicative and empathic.
- You are a natural networker with excellent communication skills.
- You are able to express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English, both written and spoken.
- You are prepared to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis.
