Three years after their worldwide breakthrough with the irresistible ‘Chaise Longue’ and ‘Wet Dream’, Wet Leg is back. The group has not only announced their second album “moisturiser”, which is due out on 11 July, but also a European tour. After their passage at Rock Werchter this summer, Wet Leg will return to Belgium on Sunday 2 November for an exciting concert at the Ancienne Belgique!
Having collected Grammys, Brit Awards and chart titles, Wet Leg, founded by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, is ready to break new ground with “moisturiser”.
Along with Ellis Durand, Henry Holmes and Joshua Mobaraki, Wet Leg have been working hard on their stage presence over the past few years. Their new album contains that exciting energy and offers a sharper, bolder, more confident sound, without sacrificing the humour and raw energy that have made them such a success. Secluded in the countryside, they wrote this album in a creative stupor, delving into themes of obsession and all-consuming love. As first singles ‘catch these fists’ and ‘CPR’ prove, “moisturiser” brings even more spice to their discography: raging guitars, heavy rhythms and uncompromising surrender to everything they feel.
