Yes! He's back! As we love to hear him most even: refined and with classy songs that instantaneously break your heart in two. He may well not have carried out his plan to release an album about every state of the US but it already bore quality albums ‘Michigan’ and the über classic ‘Illinoise’.
We're not complaining at all though as, after his excursions into electronica in recent years, his brand new album ‘Carrie & Lowell’ has just been released (and named after his mother and step-father). An album that also ushers in the return to his roots: pure folk songs with an indie angle.
Take note: be quick to get tickets, as a gent like Sufjan doesn't visit Belgium every day.
