Following the highly acclaimed EP ‘Are You Lost Here?’ (2024) and debut single Saturday Silence, which was constantly on the radio last year, the young indie pop singer-songwriter is releasing his long-awaited first full-length album. Over the past year, Iskander drew inspiration for his debut album from more than 60 domestic and international shows across Europe, while also producing and working on singles and albums for numerous other artists from his new home base in Brussels. True to his nomadic lifestyle, he worked on his album in various locations, including Berlin, New York, and a 19th-century castle just across the French border. The result: richly orchestrated, alternative pop in which the 24-year-old Iskander excels as a soul balladeer, showcasing influences from his background as a classical pianist and composer, but also as a bassist and singer in rock projects.
