Finally! Yes! Tindersticks in AB again! After 15 years! To treasure!
In light of recent developments in the spread of the COVID-19 virus, which is a very fast-moving situation, AB will be closing its doors until May the 3rd.
All concerts until 3rd of May will be suspended, and rescheduled where possible. We have mobilised the entire team and are working hard to find the best solution for each event. Individual concerts may be postponed or cancelled. If a concert is postponed, any tickets purchased will be valid for the rescheduled date. If a concert is cancelled, all tickets will be automatically refunded.
Sometimes one quote says it all: ‘Tindersticks have never released a bad album, never made an opportunistic, trend-driven shift, and have never done anything that might date their music to its moment of origin. They’re the rare group that can lay claim to a signature sound, yet tweak the formula from album to album so that each of their 10 records possesses its own distinct character.’ And who are we to disagree with Pitchfork? Want to bet that their soon to be released (regular) 11th album will fit perfectly into the row?
Kurt Overbergh: ‘Wonderful and addictive, that deep baritone voice of Stuart A. Staples.’
