Explosive blend of metal and traditional Celtic music
Eluveitie was founded in 2002 by Chrigel Clanzmann and has its roots in the heart of the Swiss Alps. The band is strongly inspired by Celtic history, mythology and spirituality. Since their first EP “Vên” (2004), Eluveitie has set the tone with a unique mix of melodic death metal and traditional folk. Later albums such as “Slania”, “Everything Remains (As It Never Was)”, “Helvetios” and “Origins” reinforced their international reputation. With the acoustic albums “Evocation I” and “Evocation II”, they also demonstrated their versatility in all its facets. Over the years, Eluveitie underwent several line-up changes, including the arrival of violinist Lea-Sophie Fischer in 2024. However, the essence of the band remained unchanged. With nine studio albums and countless worldwide tours, Eluveitie remains an indispensable pillar of the modern metal scene. 'ÀNV' (2025) is the latest addition to their extensive discography and also one of their most profound and sincere albums. The album is the result of more than twenty years of intense work to pass on Celtic mythology and spirituality to a new generation. After their appearance at Ancienne Belgique with Arch Enemy in 2025, Eluveitie will return to the iconic Brussels venue on 17 November, this time as headliners. An evening not to be missed!
