More than 30 years of musical singularity
With their tenth album, Sit Down for Dinner, New York trio Blonde Redhead (Kazu Makino and Italian twins Amedeo and Simone Pace) celebrate 30 years of musical singularity. What began in the underground of the 1990s has evolved into a unique blend of indie rock and cosmopolitan art pop. Born in the wake of the pandemic, the album is inspired by themes of impermanence, connection and the little rituals that empower - like having dinner together. Expect subtle, unsettling melodies that oscillate between melancholy and joie de vivre, carried by the distinctive harmony and inherent logic that have distinguished Blonde Redhead for three decades.
Blonde Redhead has partnered with PLUS1 to support War Child. €1.20/£1.20 from every ticket sold will help War Child to protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children affected by war. www.warchild.org.uk
