ConcertZakk Wylde, former right-hand to ‘The Godfather Of Heavy Metal’ or ‘The Prince Of Darkness’ Ozzy Osbourne, has been working his way toward the metal walhalla with his Black Label Society since the late nineties. An impressive list of musicians have passed in revue over the years (including Craig Nunenmacher – Crowbar, Mike Inez – Alice In Chains, Robert Trujillo – Metallica, and Johnny Kelly – Type O Negative), the band has written nine solid longplayers (the most recent of which, ‘Catacombs of the Black Vatican’, landed at number one in the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart), and the grooving heavy metal of BLS has effortlessly stood the test of time.
