According to Humo, Id!ots – that originates from out of the legendary West-Flemish cult band Ugly Papas – is an “onzalige jamsessie tussen Stone Temple Pilots, Monster Magnet en late ZZ Top”. We get a filthy chunk of rock ’n roll thrown in our face, followed by a big fat middle finger to subtlety and refinement. Their self-titled debut (out on Waste My Records) harbours melodious fuzzy guitars, hard hitting drum parts and the mesmerizing baritone of Luc Dufourmont. “It’s only dirty & filthy rock ’n roll”, they say. “Like a wild dog licking its own nuts”!
