JPEGMAFIA, JeanJass, DIKKE & more: five shows you don’t want to miss out on.
On both sides of the language border, Belgian hip-hop is thriving. From the Brussels underground to rappers who now fill the biggest venues: hip-hop fans have been thoroughly spoilt with talent in recent years. And AB is only too happy to showcase that talent on stage. We also look beyond our national borders for the hottest hip-hop of the moment. So here you go: five shows you don’t want to miss out on.
NUPS3E Tue 20 Oct
Alpha, Godson and CRC together form the Brussels underground hip-hop collective NUPS3E. On 20 October, they will be presenting their new album at AB. The follow-up to Monochrome (2023) features tracks such as ‘ASAP’, ‘40’ and ‘HENNY POP’. Every track reaffirms their strong collective identity: somewhere between raw energy and a polished aesthetic, including the distinctive visuals of Noah Yildiz. Be sure to grab your ticket in good time.
Swing Fri 13 Nov
After a period of introspection, Swing is back in full force with F5, an album that’s all about renewal and a fresh start. The Brussels-based rapper moves effortlessly between rap, R&B, soul and jazz, underpinned by a warm production style and a powerful emotional charge. F5 shows how Swing has grown both as a person and as a musician. On 13 November, he will play his only (!) Belgian show at AB. Lucky us!
JeanJass Sat 14 Nov
JeanJass has become a key figure in Belgian rap. As one half of the duo Caballero & JeanJass, he emerged as an icon of the French-speaking scene. He’s also made his mark as a producer, with his sound striking a balance between technical finesse and authenticity. On 14 November, he’ll be taking AB by storm with an exceptional show. This is an artist at the height of his powers.
DIKKE Fri 5 Feb
DIKKE has gone from Limburg underdog to one of the most outspoken voices in Dutch-language hip-hop in the space of just a few years. His laid-back flow, razor-sharp one-liners and blend of self-mockery and unfiltered observations have given him a style that’s hard to compare with anyone else’s. Anyone who saw him perform live at AB back in 2025 will know that DIKKE delivers. He’ll be doing the same again on 5 February 2027.
JPEGMAFIA Mon 15 Feb
JPEGMAFIA prefers to do everything himself: writing, recording, producing, mixing and mastering. He makes a curious blend of rap with noise, trap, industrial, metal guitar riffs and experimental song structures. He makes a game out of insulting his fans, but also makes sure they know he cares about them. With every show, JPEGMAFIA proves that he’s even better live than on record. But come and decide for yourself at AB on 15 February 2027.
