WEVAL
“The very best of dark electronica moodiness” – Pitchfork
Minimalistic synth-tronica and moody beats – approved by Pitchfork: Weval! The Dutch duo - Harm Coolen & Merijn Scholte Albers – already grabbed plenty of attention with EPs ‘Half Age’ and ‘Easier’, but their untitled debut album (2016, Kompakt Records) is a fantastic masterpiece that belongs amongst the most prominent of electronica albums. A dynamic dancefloor flow with hints of dark deep house and intimate electro-pop, the perfect mix for the dancefloor!
