Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats is the brainchild of Kevin Starrs and has been creating a highly idiosyncratic blend of psychedelic rock, blues and proto-metal since 2009. With dark vocals, compelling melodies, heavy riffs and a generous dose of psychedelia, the British band creates a sound that feels both familiar and utterly unique. They draw inspiration from the dark history of heavy music, but put their own distinctive spin on it. The result: a sultry, macabre and hypnotic sound that comes into its own even more intensely when performed live.
