Warm synths, subtle rhythms and field-recordings unfold into dreamy compositions
Sunday Morning Concerts is a concert series in the intimate setting of the AB Salon. Music is the focal point, in peaceful surroundings and with rapt attention. Enjoy a warm moment to listen, slow down and discover new sounds.
Lennert Jacobs makes experimental yet melodic electronic music under the name L. Jacobs. Following his acclaimed debut Enthusiasm (2021, W.E.R.F. / Les Albums Claus), he performed at festivals such as Pukkelpop and Sonic City, in venues like LAC and De Koer, and toured the UK with Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul.
On 10 April 2026 we will see the release of his second album Behind The Great Curve on Belgian label Blickwinkel, produced by Milan W.. The album came about in Jacobs’ attic room and was refined in Studio Van Den Nest, with contributions from Milan W., Sarah Yu Zeebroek and Joachim Badenhorst, among others.
The album explores the beauty of ‘the curve’, a line that moves, deviates and never stands still. Dreamy compositions unfold in a gently meandering soundscape of warm synths, subtle rhythms and field-recordings.
