A pioneering group in French rap, Sniper was formed in 1997 in the Val-d’Oise, centred around Aketo, Tunisiano, Blacko and DJ Boudj. They quickly made their mark on the music scene with powerful albums such as *Du rire aux larmes* (2001), Gravé dans la roche (2003) and Trait pour trait (2006), blending social commitment, urban experiences, social criticism and poetic power. For 2026, Aketo and Tunisiano have announced their return to the stage for a concert tour, under the name Sniper (duo version). A confident return to their roots: reviving the classics, offering new songs, and reaffirming their voice in socially conscious rap. Fans can expect encores of iconic tracks, but also the discovery of a more mature world, free from past tensions, centred on respect, authenticity and energy.
