Roosbeef is the band led by singer and writer Roos Rebergen. Since their breakthrough, the band has developed as one of the most distinctive voices in Dutch-language music.
 
Given the wealth of outstanding Dutch-speaking female talent with which we are blessed, it would be easy to forget that Rebergen is a pioneer. She is regarded as one of the most influential lyricists of her generation. Her songs are simultaneously playful, subversive, moving and relatable. 
 
Five albums on, Roosbeef has earned a loyal following in The Netherlands & Belgium and garnered praise from press, fellow musicians and listeners. In 2024, Roos released an album featuring classical arrangements of her songs with the SunSunSun Orchestra string quartet. The album and the sold-out concerts received rave reviews.
 
Meanwhile, she has been working on new material. That process was overshadowed by the death of band member and friend Tom Pintens and a period in which Rebergen took a step back to focus on her mental health.
 
Now, Roosbeef announces a sixth studio album in the form of Binnensmonds and De Leugen. And so Roosbeef continues to reinvent itself without ever losing its unique voice.
