Oscar and the Wolf hardly needs introduction. When you enter Colombie’s world, you find a unique and idiosyncratic mix of contemporary R&B and electro-pop. A combination of dark, soaring melodies and danceable beats too. Vocals steeped in drama, but also overflowing with sensuality and desire. Max Colombie describes his music as “a twilight zone where it is neither sad nor happy. It’s just like the name ‘Oscar and the Wolf’. A balance between light and dark, a perfect interplay of the sun and the moon. It’s beautiful and scary at the same time”.
