Enchanting indietronica, following London Grammar & The xx!

A good year ago, the classically schooled multi-instrumentalists Anthony and Josephine – or Oh Wonder – devised an ambitious plan to write and launch a song every month via soundcloud, in order to then release a complete album in September 2015 and have it followed by the first concerts.

The duo from London – that fits perfectly into row London Grammar, The xx and (closer to home) Hydrogen sea, Float Fall and I Will, I Swear – has now, by oh wonder, gathered more than 25 million streams on both Soundcloud, as well as Spotify, and millions of views on YouTube. Aside from that, their songs have been receiving airplay on pretty much all British radio stations, peaked in the charts of much-visited music blogs like Hype Machine, and then all the tickets for their very first tour along London, Paris, Los Angeles and New York were gone in no time. To say that this innovative approach is not without result would be a huge understatement!
