The registration fee is €3,50, but this is returned to you in the form of drink tokens upon arrival. Sign up now!
During this Nightlab session, you will learn how to find hidden musical gems on the internet. You’ll discover handy tools, platforms and techniques to build up a unique collection that is perfectly suited to your musical tastes.
The session will be led by Kampire, one of East Africa’s most exciting DJs. She is known for her sharp, inventive DJ style, her lively, bass-rich sets and her unexpected transitions between diverse genres. Kampire shows how music can be transformed into something that carries you away and opens your eyes.
As a core member of the Nyege Nyege collective from Kampala, she brought the energy of Ugandan party culture to clubs and festivals worldwide. Her Boiler Room set at the Nyege Nyege festival in 2018 went viral and instilled serious FOMO in electronic music fans the world over.
You can also hear Kampire as a monthly resident on NTS Radio, where she provides a platform for DJs and artists from Africa and the diaspora (including Authentically Plastic, Chrisman and DJ IV).
