Rebellious French pop phenomenon goes hard and fast
There is something special about French groundwater, because talented female artists are popping up like mushrooms. Miki has built up a huge following in no time with her modern and hybrid indie pop, in which she weaves an intimate and direct discourse with bold and powerful productions.
Miki sings, speaks and writes in the first person. She tackles light and heavy subjects in a free tone, with distance and a lot of self-mockery.
After her much-discussed first EP “graou”, which was released in the spring, she launched her debut album “industry plant” on 3 October. She announced it as follows:
Nothing more to add!
