Premiere of the 3rd album of award-winning jazz drummer Lionel Beuvens "The strong personalities united in the Lionel Beuvens Quartet contrast and complement each other. In their music, influences ranging from African music, over Radiohead, Steve Coleman, Count Basie, John Coltrane to Bach can be noticed."

The (international) group around drummer Lionel Beuvens is long overdue. Their third album - to be released this fall - '49 Steps to Heaven' - is a tribute to the earth, nature, groove, melody, adventure, tradition, freedom and the energy that is released when different personalities make music together.
