An effervescent evening with first Polaroid Fiction & then Hong Kong Dong!

Polaroid Fiction
An explosive trio from Tongeren and surrounding areas. Fresh from the 'music high school PHL'. Winners of Limbomania. They've already scored in The Netherlands, Denmark and Scotland too.

According to our local people, they're to be situated between Rage Against The Machine, 'The Peppers', Trouble Kids, Black Box Revelation, White Stripes... Big Noise, as it were.

Hong Kong Dong
The name sounds a bit Chinese? Of course. These are Boris and Sarah Yu Zeebroek, Kamagurka's kids. But especially: with guitar star Geoffrey Burton (and now with master-drummer Lennert Jacobs) playing along, Hong Kong Dong finally delivers their first longplayer: 'Sweet Sensations'.

De Standaard announced: 'Ingenuity and drive to experiment fill their imaginative universe... In the weird world of Hong Kong Dong, Prince is reconciled with Devo and Liars with Matthew Dear. Songs bounce around between horny electronica, dark ambient, mad pop, eastern motifs, tenacious funk and scorching noise 4*/5.'
