90's shoegaze pop

Concert

The music of Australian singer-songwriter, Hatchie, sounds like an update of the sound of the 90s. She mixes her dreamy pop, with influences from Cocteau Twins to Natalie Imbruglia, with shoegaze guitars and honest, relatable lyrics. After her successful debut EP 'Sugar & Spice' (2018), her first full-length album 'Keepsake' followed a year later. With follow-up 'Giving the World Away', she shows her most personal side and adds touches of dance music to her sound.

'Lyrical depths and glossy warmth infuse the Australian’s lush second album' - **** The Guardian
