Faroese folk with a dark, cinematic and emotionally charged sound
Eivør, one of the most distinctive voices on the Nordic music scene, returns with a new album. Deeply influenced by the rugged landscapes and communal singing culture of her homeland, the Faroe Islands, she blends centuries-old traditions with a contemporary sound. With her new work, she once again moves between different genres, blending Nordic folk, cinematic compositions and modern production into a dark, atmospheric and emotionally charged sound.
You may recognise her voice from The Last Kingdom (TV series) and God of War (game), where she helped shape the immersive sound worlds. Live, Eivør is known for her intense and emotional performances, in which she brings her music to life with an energy that is both intimate and powerful. Her next release marks the beginning of a new chapter: more direct and focused, yet still rich in the emotional depth that characterises her sound.
Eivør will be joined by Rabbitology as a special guest.
