Split-album release in the unique acoustics of the Echochamber.
This evening, Clara Levy and Stéphane Clor present the physical release of their work on the Huis label in the unique acoustics of Volta’s Echochamber.
Stéphane Clor is a musician and visual artist. He creates music using string instruments, objects, and rudimentary electronic systems. His practice moves between sound art, cartography, photography, drawing, and ecology.
Clara Levy is a violinist and composer who works with the notions of erosion, extraction, and sedimentation. In her practice, she "re-composes" open-ended pieces, starting from existing music, with a preference for "timeless repertoire" such as medieval music and folk songs.
Huis is a label that seeks to bring together music and architecture, and is the brainchild of Christophe Albertijn.
Christophe works as a musician, recording and mastering engineer, producer, and composer across various fields such as electroacoustic music, contemporary dance & performance, film, and visual art. He also teaches film sound, sound theory, and recording.
