“Shimmery atmospherics with choruses large enough to have their own postcode, their tunes will convince you it’s summer already.” – NME
“Summer-laden euphoric pop.” – Clash Magazine
A healthy vitamin D overload that even a sun-cream factor 50 white-boy can’t cope with? It is exceptionally fine to hang out on the sunlit Coasts!
Surfing on the waves of indie-pop rockers Circa Waves and Sunset Sons (AB Club 14/04), diving into that same musical sea as Swim Deep, and on the same wavelength as Catfish and the Bottlemen: Coasts beaches in Brussels on Sunday 13/03 – where they will immerse us in the wonderful world of debut ‘Oceans’ (out via Warner as of 22/01/16).
Their first radio single, entitled ‘Oceans’ (just like the album), was picked up a year and a half after its release (June ’14) and – rightly – played to death on every national radio station. New single and sing-along song ‘You’ predicts a debut album full of pop hits and undoubtedly intense sing-alongs live. The advance (swift as an arrow and straight to the top) would appear to have commenced!
