South African pop at its best
Beatenberg is a town in Switzerland, but then again, it's a fine indie pop band from Cape Town, South Africa. Matthew Field (vocals/guitar), Robin Brink (drums) and Ross Dorkin (bass) bring a unique, upbeat sound that has not only earned them multiple nominations and hit records in their home country, but has also attracted the attention of Mumford & Sons who took them on tour. Recently Island Records UK signed the band, to introduce Europe to this fresh sound.
