Psychedelic boogie” trio debuted on Domino Records
Dreamy melodies with a subtle psychedelic touch that wonderfully wrestles with pumping, sexy disco grooves. Multi-cultural trio All We Are (“There was once an Irishman, a Norwegian and a Brazilian…”) succeed in combining all those elements perfectly, to form a lively musical mash that they themselves label as “psychedelic boogie”.
Their self-titled debut, recorded with producer Dan Carey (Bat For Lashes, MIA, Hot Chip), was strongly influenced by hip-hop and modern soul music, with OutKast’s double album ‘Speakerboxxx/The Love below’ as ultimate reference for the swing of the beats. It is soon to be released from the impressive stables of Domino Records’ sub-label Double Six (Jon Hopkins, John Cale, She & Him).
