ConcertAime Simone is a Paris-born singer-songwriter and producer who has made a name for himself in music with his hybrid style, which he calls ‘post pop’. His songwriting blends the emotional and melodic depth of pop with the intensity of trap and club rhythms, underlined by elements of electronic experimentation.
Aime is now back with his third album REV, his most ambitious and conceptually rich project to date. The album is a bold exploration of his personal mythology, touching on themes of revolution, revenge, revelation and the fluid nature of identity. Through REV, Aime invites listeners to join him on a journey of introspection and metamorphosis through his powerful narrative and commentary on society in the allegory of the ‘underworld’: a world where the boundaries between light and dark, good and evil, reality and illusion, are in constant flux.
