Rock Werchter's most recent edition celebrated the festival’s 50th year and we certainly noticed. Great shows, fantastic organisation and (aside from a few black holes) an awesome series of unforgettable musical highlights.
Of course, it’s no coincidence that some of those highlights will soon shine on stage at AB. Read along, the reviews look like a star-studded sky and we can’t wait to welcome these artists to AB.
Jazz Brak op Rapsalon 2025
Sat 18 Oct
“And the award for earliest conquest goes to… Jazz Brak op Rock Werchter” (★★★★☆ HUMO)
At Rock Werchter, Jazz Brak absolutely had it all: the attitude, flow, swagger, beats and determination to turn a hopeless situation into a resounding victory. Arrived ‘in a big black limo’, departed as a class act.

Yseult did it ‘my way’ at Rock Werchter (★★★☆☆ HUMO)
Lambrini Girls
Mon 8 dec
"A tight dozen of blistering punk songs. Countless fuck you’s aimed at the Israeli army. A slap in the face of J.K. Rowling and other transphobes. Curses hurled at the police. And a stage dive from the grandstand at The Slope. The Lambrini Girls' show at Rock Werchter had it all." (★★★★☆ De Morgen)
Emmy d'Arc

Limburg’s Emmy d’Arc opened the final day of Rock Werchter in the pouring rain: “Fortunately, all went well” (De Standaard)

Durand Jones & The Indications
Sun 15 Feb
Durand Jones & The Indications op Rock Werchter: een swingend huiskamerconcertje (★★★☆☆ HUMO)
My God, wat een funky soul. Of is het soulvolle funk? Anyway, het leek nagenoeg onmogelijk, maar Durand Jones & The Indications klonken op The Slope even cool als hun bandnaam.
