Wed 29 Oct — The Young Mothers
Free jazz, hip-hop and experimentation in one sextet.
Led by Norwegian bassist Ingebrigt Håker Flaten (The Thing, Neneh Cherry), The Young Mothers brings together musicians from New York, Chicago and Texas. Their music is intense and daring, a fusion of genres that pushes the limits of jazz and improvisation.

Thu 30 Oct — Kneebody
Rough Trade: “Highly inventive, original and compelling.”
The American quartet Kneebody moves between jazz, rock, soul and electronics, creating music that is both inventive and accessible. Their compositions combine complexity and spontaneity, offering an invitation to rediscover jazz.
Sun 2 Nov — Asher Gamedze – A Semblance

South African drummer Asher Gamedze shows in A Semblance how jazz can resonate with political awareness and personal expression. His compositions are both experimental and emotionally charged, with rhythms that evoke both Coltrane and J Dilla.

Brooklyn-based R&B experimentalist
Brooklyn’s keiyaA blends jazz, R&B and hip-hop into an intimate and layered sound. Her music reflects on identity, solitude and self-awareness, combining warm vocal lines, lo-fi beats and electronic textures.

A combo with the cream of Brussels’ (jazz) scene
Woolvs’ Large Ensemble brings together 23 musicians from the Brussels scene. Their artpop and jazz merge into a rich, captivating album that explores themes of togetherness, hope and loss — a musical reflection of a city in motion.
