Face paint? Make-up? No frills, pure rock: Warpaint!

Where did it hurt? No idea, but Warpaint is finally back after five years. The American, strongly hypnotic foursome already launched first new single 'Lilys'. That turned out to be an forthright foretaste of even more fresh, sizzling, tasty, ‘verging on trashy’ rock. John - Red Hot Chili Peppers - Frusciante has already produced them, and they already toured with Yeasayer and The xx. But above all: we were able to experience this fierce couple from L.A. à la volonté in a full AB Club and Main Hall. High time for “a new couche” alias a fresh introduction to the latest Warpaint material! And, as is usual for them: “Warpaint = wait, but not in vain”!

Fun fact

The band name still refers to flashy make-up for a combative night out.
