SaffronKeira has been the project of sound-artist Eugenio Caria since 2008. His dark ambient is a stark contrast to the ever sunny and warm Sardinia, the Italian island where Caria lives. That’s probably why he is mainly found in his studio at night. SaffronKeira’s music fluctuates between minimalism, experimental electronica and classical ambient. Through collaborations with other artists, SaffronKeira adds touches of jazz and classical to his studio albums. Live, SaffronKeira knows how to establish a very moody and exciting set based on drones, soundscapes and IDM.
 
Siavash Amini [IR]
Producer Siavash Amini, who hails from Tehran, became known to a larger audience in 2017 with his album ‘TAR’ and through his collaboration with Rafael Anton Irissarri on ‘The Shameless Years’. These albums ended high in the year-end charts of Boomkat, The A closer Listen, Drowned in Sound, and The Quietus. Even though the roots of Siavash Amini’s music lie in the culture of southern Iran, his soundscapes feel universal. The pieces are calming and light-hearted but, at the same time, also ominous and bleak.
