Wham bam! Do you still remember the '11 uppercut ‘Black Up’ dished out by hip-hop collective Shabazz Palaces? The first rap group to succeed in finding a roof with guitar oriented record label Sub Pop? Their debut ‘Black Up’ was an inspiring avant garde hip-hop album that quite darkly coloured with spare beats and militant raps. Successor ‘Lese Majesty’ made an equally big impression.
