Scars on Broadway is the band containing System Of A Down members Daron Malakian (vocals/guitar) and John Dolmayan (drums), reinforced by Franky Perez (guitar/backing vocals), Danny Shamoun (keyboards/percussion) and Dominic Cifarelli (bass). Following the 2 fantastic SOAD albums 'Mesmerize' and 'Hypnotize' singer Serj Tankian went solo. Daron Malakian apparently had a cupboard full of his own material lying around too. The first load of which will appear this summer on their untitled debut CD. Musically you can expect solid rock with an occasional touch of System Of A Down metal.
