Energetic mating dance of the Belgian indie-pop top!
Protection Patrol Pinkerton
In Beach House language PPP means ‘Piss Poor Planning’, a song hailing from album-before-last ‘Depression Cherry’ by the American dream-pop duo. In Belgium that abbreviation was claimed several years ago now by Protection Patrol Pinkerton, an energetic, West-Flemish indie-pop band with one or more screws loose.
Twice now, the pleasant PPP-ers have had our beloved AB bouncing with their rousing melodies and exotic rhythms. They nimbly continue in the same vein with new single ‘Don’t Wreck This’, the perfect remedy for a vitamin D deficiency. They released two video clips for the song, the alternate version containing a very limber guitarist, Pieter-Willem Lauwers, in the role of his life. A fun summer hit in the winter. Anything goes with Protection Patrol Pinkerton!
‘Good Music Beautiful People’, successor to their self-titled debut from 2012, will be in stores as of 20 November via quality label Waste My Records.
