Figurehead of the new generation of vibraphone players.

Pascal Schumacher is one of the figureheads of the new generation of vibraphone players. Schumacher comes from Luxembourg but resides in Brussels half-time. It is also there that the Pascal Schumacher Quartet was born, in Brussels' jazz club Sounds to be precise. This quartet now has 4 albums to its name and will soon be releasing a fifth album ‘Bang My Can’ (via the prestigious Enja Records). The band has already played at the North Sea Jazz festival (Den Haag), London Jazz Festival (UK) and at the International Jazz Festival Melbourne (Australia). They'll be arriving in full glory to present their latest album in the AB.
