After more than 20,000 AB visitors: the ultimate farewell.
Concert“Two hours in the company of the Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club Is a heart-warming, uplifting experience everyone should sample at least once.” (Edinburgh Evening News)
The link between AB and the Buena Vista Social Club is no insignificant one. Between ‘97 (the legendary concert by the now deceased pianist Rubén González) and now, we have welcomed no less than 20,000 visitors for wonderful Cuban son, danzón, cha cha cha and bolero. We will never forget the heart-warming concerts by Omara Portuondo, Afro-Cuban All Stars, Ibrahim Ferrer, Miguel Angá Diaz or the phenomenal bassist Cachaito ‘Orlando’ Lopez in AB. Ever.
