Humo describes it as “phenomenally controlled power jazz”
Pretty unique: Humo’s Rock Rally – still the mother of all rock contests – awarded, for the first time in its history (which commenced in '78), a band with the highest jazz-content ever. Nordmann, from Ghent, had that honour and, in the short time they've been together (barely two years), they've made a solid impression in the jazz circuit. They could thank their Top 3 position to their exciting mix of jazz, rock and experiment. Or, as their own biography states: “Nordmann’s restless rhythms and grinding grooves alternate with intimate soundscapes and open improvisation.”
The early part of ’15 will see the release of their debut ‘Alarm’, and AB is more than happy to share this with the world. That means: with you.
