Join Shiomi Kawaguchi & Youka Snell of Mitsune offer an immersive 1.5-hour journey into Min'yo, Japanese folk music.
As accomplished Tsugaru shamisen players and vocalists, Shiomi and Youka invite participants of all backgrounds to discover the beauty and spirit of Min'yo.
In this interactive workshop, you'll:

• Dive into the fascinating history and traditions of Min'yo
• Learn and sing a selected Min'yo song together
• Jam alongside other musicians, bringing your own instruments or simply your voice

If you have a shamisen, please bring it along! Shiomi and Youka will be delighted to answer your questions and guide your playing.
