Classy Brussels rap from the upper echelons

Concert

Let’s start out with a whopping understatement: La Smala are doing well! This group of young Brussels rappers has been around since ’07, but after the release of their debut ‘Un Murmure dans le Vent’ in ’14, suddenly every door seemed to open for them. They sold out the AB Box effortlessly earlier this year and they appeared during the past festival summer on pretty much every major stage. From Couleur Café via Dour to Les Ardentes, and their French tour was a hit too.

Time for a new chapter for La Smala! La Smala – Arabic for ‘family’ – is ready to charm AB’s Main Hall with a new repertoire (and familiar hits, of course). As befits the rappers, of course a series of guests will also pass in revue.
