British psych-pop icon is hatching a comeback & a new LP!
Just like an obstinate and extremely tasty hallucinogenic mushroom, psych-pop icon Kula Shaker just keeps on shooting up out of the British soil. After the gigantic success of their debut βKβ in β96 (propped full of hits like βTattvaβ and βGovindaβ) and world hit βHushβ (the original is by Joe South, also covered by Deep Purple), the band split in β99.
Five years later, chief-Shaker Crispian Mills kicked Kula Shaker back into action and that resulted in the albums βStrangefolkβ (β07) and βPilgrims Progressβ (β10), but it had been quiet around the band again for a few years now. Until a little while ago when word blew in that they were quietly hatching a new album and a real comeback. Followed by an exclusive show in AB Club!
