Following their impressive performance at the Marquee during the latest edition of the Graspop Metal Meeting, Kanonenfieber are returning to Belgium in late 2027!

In just a few years, Kanonenfieber have established themselves as one of the most prominent names on the European extreme metal scene. The project stands out for its powerful concept, inspired by letters, diaries and historical documents from the First World War. Far from glorifying war, the band highlights the absurdity of conflict, the lasting trauma and the heavy human toll it exacts. Musically, Kanonenfieber combines the dark atmosphere of black metal with the destructive power of death metal. Frantic blast beats alternate with more melancholic passages reminiscent of the distant rumble of artillery. The result is a captivating and uncompromising listening experience. On stage too, the band knows how to impress with an intense and polished performance that only serves to reinforce the power of its message. Kanonenfieber already proved this earlier this year during their very first appearance at the Graspop Metal Meeting. With the ‘Kriegstage 2027’ tour, the band will be performing in seventeen European cities this autumn, delivering a memorable show that highlights the devastating impact of war – a theme that is, sadly, more relevant than ever.
