ConcertOn their untitled debut album, Imarhan heads in a new direction within the Tuareg music. They distance themselves from the traditional rhythms and make room for calmer, passionate jams and a sensitivity in their sound. The music is more intimate and there are more urban influences creeping in. This makes them the founding fathers of a new wave within the genre and, at the same time, they prove wrong everyone who thinks that all Tuareg music is the same.
