First Belgian concert by Mexican alt-pop sensation
HUMBE, one of the most prominent voices in Mexican alternative pop, is coming to Belgium for a not-to-be-missed concert! Known for his poetic songwriting and emotionally rich sound, the Monterrey-born artist has been shaping a unique musical world since he first sat behind a piano at just nine years old. Expect an intimate yet powerful evening where sensitivity, atmosphere, and heartfelt melodies take center stage!
At just 22 years old, HUMBE was nominated for a Latin GRAMMY as Best New Artist. Today, working entirely independently, he releases his music through his own label, PARASIEMPRE.wav Records. His previous album, ARMAGEDÓN, included the hit single “KINTSUGI,” which has surpassed 115 million streams on Spotify.
His new project, DUEÑO DEL CIELO, is an ambitious double album featuring 22 songs recorded in Iceland. The work unfolds as a cinematic experience, moving from ethereal soundscapes to intense and vulnerable finales, reflecting a profound process of personal and artistic reinvention.
This album concludes the conceptual trilogy that began with ESENCIA (2023) and continued with ARMAGEDÓN (2024)—a symbolic narrative exploring life, love, loss, and reconstruction. In DUEÑO DEL CIELO, HUMBE delivers a message of hope: when everything falls apart, the sky always remains as a space to begin again.
Musically, the project showcases an eclectic palette, ranging from orchestral arrangements and synthesizers to explorations of genres such as cha-cha-cha. It is a bold sonic proposal that places emotion and the voice at its core.
In December, HUMBE officially premiered DUEÑO DEL CIELO at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, performing in front of more than 26,000 people and marking a new chapter in his career. “It’s the best album I’ve made in my life. It represents everything I am and everything I’ve lived,” HUMBE states.
