The Canadian/Belgian duo GHOSTWOMAN is returning to AB, this time to present their latest album, Welcome to the Civilised World. After playing to a sold-out Club in February '24, they will now set the big stage of AB alight in the Box with their reverb-drenched lo-fi beats and guitar licks.

 Welcome to the Civilised World comes as a raw reaction to a broken, absurd world. Guitarist Evan Uschenko (CAN) started the project on a farm in Alberta and later found a partner in drummer Ille van Dessel (BEL); together they thrive on instinct, chaos and resistance to cynicism. The record embodies their uncompromising collaboration, a clash of rusty guitars and thumping drums that captures both futility and the will to survive. Musically, the album blends psych-grunge, decaying Americana and intense improvisation, with lyrics serving as abstract textures rather than meaningful messages.
