Finally in their own 'club of waters' after their Snarky Puppy 'support'
Difficult to describe but easily impressive. House Of Waters is an American trio without musical borders: West Africa, jazz, psychedelica, indie-rock, classical, and every possible global sound... unite in a unique mix.
With Max ZT, 'the Jimi Hendrix of hammered dulcimer', Moto Fukushima on the six-string bass (!), and percussion in the good hands of Argentine-born Ignacio Rivas-Bixio.
For fans of 'All fine things fusion' or the 'melting pot' approach of, say, D'Angelo or Kendrick Lamar. According to Max: 'that wasn’t just rap, or hip hop, or jazz, or soul, but it had all of that. It’s an amorphous thing. It’s how the future is going to be.'
AB fun fact Their support-act for that sold-out Snarky Puppy concert in the Main Hall in May ’17, of course.
