Sounds For Someone Tour
British-Sudanese singer Elmiene will perform for the first time at the AB as part of his first major international tour, Sounds For Someone Tour. Having made a name for himself with several heartfelt singles and impressive live performances, this Belgian stop will be the perfect opportunity to discover an artist whose talent and sensitivity are set to conquer the world.
Born in Frankfurt to Sudanese parents and raised in Oxford from childhood, Elmiene quickly established himself as a rising star of contemporary soul. From the outset, he has been praised by critics, accumulating nominations and awards (BBC Sound 24, Brit Awards 25, etc.), confirming his unique talent and solid artistic vision. His career, although still young, is distinguished by a sensitive and contemporary approach to soul, blending tradition and modernity, while offering a musical experience that is both intimate and collective. His debut album, “sounds for someone,” due out on March 27, explores true feelings and journeys between grief, acceptance, and love, blending universal intimate emotions. Produced by Sampha, Buddy Ross, NO ID, and Raphael Saadiq, the album includes the brilliant singles “Reclusive” and “Cry Against The Wind,” which have already racked up thousands of plays on streaming platforms, as well as magnificent collaborations with Baby Rose and Raphael Saadiq himself.
Last fall, Elmiene had already won over Belgian audiences during an exclusive session, which resulted in a live album showcasing her charisma and stage presence.
This concert is a co-production between Live Nation and Ancienne Belgique.
