On Sunday 18 April 2027, British power metal band DragonForce will be performing at the Ancienne Belgique as part of their Europe Tour 2027! With a new album on the horizon, we’re in for an evening packed with lightning-fast riffs, impressive solos and top-class power metal! DragonForce will be joined for the occasion by the Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis and the American band Wings of Steel as special guests!

DragonForce, formed in London in 1999 by guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman, has established itself as an indispensable force within power metal, driven by dizzying solos, unrivalled technical virtuosity and compelling choruses. From ‘Valley of the Damned’ (2003) to ‘Warp Speed Warriors’ (2024), the band has created a universe in which the speed of metal blends with epic melodies and influences from the world of gaming. With ‘Inhuman Rampage’ (2006), DragonForce achieved worldwide fame. Their single “Through the Fire and Flames”, which achieved cult status thanks to the game ‘Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock’, catapulted the band into the international spotlight and turned them into a true phenomenon, with hundreds of millions of streams to date. DragonForce are renowned for their spectacular live performances and have shared the stage with legends such as Iron Maiden, Metallica and Slipknot. The band has left an indelible mark on the biggest stages, including the Lotto Arena in Antwerp (2022), Ancienne Belgique (2024) and, of course, on multiple occasions at Graspop Metal Meeting. As the band celebrates the 20th anniversary of their legendary album ‘Inhuman Rampage’ this year, a new era is dawning for DragonForce. Alissa White-Gluz, former lead singer of Arch Enemy, is joining the band for their upcoming concerts and their tenth studio album, which is currently in the making. Marc Hudson, on the other hand, is temporarily stepping back from the band due to persistent problems with tinnitus. DragonForce welcomes Alessio Garavello, a long-time friend of the band, as the male vocalist alongside Alissa. A new era is dawning for the band, who are determined to push the boundaries of speed and power even further! On 18 April 2027, DragonForce and their special guests will bring the house down at Ancienne Belgique with an energetic power metal show!
